Link:Repository:Latest update (2/25/2020):After using the modified New Relic configuration for some time, I've decided to leave the hosted version up indefinitely. The page, however, will 'go to sleep' when not in use for a while (see the update below for details). This is the final planned update for this project. If you'd like to try making your own changes or updates, feel free to check out the repository link above.Next planned update:None.Older updates:.: The Heroku hosted version of the app will NOT be taken down next month as originally planned. However, I've disabled the New Relic monitor on it so that it will 'go to sleep' when not in use.

After a month or so with this new configuration, I'm going to see what kind of usage this ends up leading to. If the numbers are low enough, then I'll most likely keep the project there since it won't affect my other plans. If they are too high, however, then I'll have to take it down permanently. See for more details regarding this decision.: Per, I've gone ahead and made the project open source.

Feel free to download or fork the repository. All documentation can be found in the readme.: Added README.md containing all relevant information for running, testing, and deploying the project. This will be available in the project repository when it is open sourced later this month.

11/9/2019: Created a CI workflow for integration with GitHub Actions to run tests whenever a pull request is made. This will be helpful for people that fork the project from there when it is eventually made public.: More refactoring and upgrading (particularly with an emphasis on the Javascript assets) in preparation of the open sourcing of the project (see below for more info). I've also fixed the URL mappings so all old paths that no longer exist will automatically redirect to the index page.: In order to prepare for the eventual open sourcing of the project, I've done some refactoring and upgraded the primary framework (Grails) to the latest version (4.0.0). Additionally, I've made sure to include all the configuration needed for deploying this project to Heroku. Related information will be provided via a README.md file within the repository.

9/25/2019: On 8/23/2019, Harmonix posted. In that update, they confirmed that there are no plans to introduce new cards. As a result of this, I will no longer be developing new features for the deck creator and will also be taking the site down in the near future so that I can repurpose my Heroku dynos for other projects. The latter will most likely happen on 1/1/2020, but I will confirm the exact date on this post in the future. The good news is that I'm working on making the project open source so that anybody can download, use, and improve it going forward.

Once again, I'll update this post with more details once I have some relevant news to report. However, I'll probably also make a separate post about this to increase visibility. As usual, please let me know if there are any questions or feedback in the interim. 7/26/2019: Until we have additional clarification on the future of Dropmix, I am going to suspend development of this app indefinitely.

If anything changes, I'll make an announcement here. In the meantime, the latest version will continue to be available via the link above. 4/22/2019: With the release of Phase and Rhymer, I've added their cards to the app. I've also added the applicable bafflers for those packs.

3/2/2019: Besides implementing some under-the-hood changes, I've added the ability to select how many decks you want to create (with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4). In the future, I'll try to improve the logic so that more than 4 decks can be created at once. However, this is where things stand right now. 2/25/2019: I've done the final refinement of the sort by series feature by allowing for selecting/unselecting of packs in bulk.

Simply click the checkbox in the top-right of the pack image and you can select/unselect all cards in that pack. As you'd expect, selecting/unselecting by series will also select/unselect all packs in that series. 2/23/2019: I've done some additional refinement of the sort by series feature. Namely, the page now shows the card artwork that is displayed in the 'window' of each pack so that users can easily identify them. 2/22/2019: I've refined the sort by series feature to visually subdivide each series by the different packs that comprise it. Hopefully this will be a solid experience for users that only have certain packs within a series. 2/21/2019: Added the ability to choose cards by series (where applicable).

This feature should provide better UX for those that have only purchased certain packs individually and thus may only own a subset of the applicable playlist(s). By default, the root page will only let you sort by playlist. By clicking the 'Sort by series' button at the top of the page, however, you can use an alternate version which splits cards that belong to a series out into a separate row. All cards that are part of non-series playlists are still contained in the playlists row.

However, you can select cards / sets from the rows interchangeably. 2/18/2019: I've added more logic to support the newer deck templates as seen in Chiller, Socket, and Energy. Because of this, there should now be very few combinations of cards that will lead to an error. I've also updated the description below to reflect how the app functionally works.

2/17/2019: I've added Rhymer and Phase to the app in advance of their commercial release. However, you won't see them appear in the UI for the time being as I've disabled them functionally until they're being sold and shipped. This also applies to their Baffler cards. 2/9/2019: With the releases of Verdant and City, I've added those playlists to the app. I've also added the Baffler cards from those packs.

1/16/2019: With the official release of Instinct, I've added the playlist to the app. I've also added the Baffler card from that pack. 12/2/2018: Season 2 is underway! With the official release of Fantastic, I've added the playlist to the app.

I've also added the Baffler cards from Energy, Flora, and Fantastic. 10/6/2018: Season 2 is right around the corner! With the official reveal of the Energy and Flora cards, I've added both playlists to the app in advance of their commercial release. 8/11/2018: Season 2 is almost here!

To kick things off, I've added the new 'Power Rangers' promo card (i.e., P01C004). 5/26/2018: All of season 1 is now available! Big thanks to for getting the card images that made this possible. Additionally, I've overhauled the randomization logic, which should lead to fewer errors when selecting subsets of cards from the available pool.

To use this Horse Quest Online Hack you need to chose any of available Cheat Code from a list below and type it in Horse Quest Online game console. Horse quest online 3d. This Horse Quest Online Hack works for all iOS and also for Android smartphones. Horse Quest Online Hack is free way to get and unlock all In-App purchases in the game for free.

Clicking on a card will now open a new tab with the page for that card. Also, the list of playlists/cards are horizontally scrollable. Clicking on the 'Go!'

Button now hides the list of playlists/cards. Conversely, clicking on the 'Clear results' button shows the list again. Last but not least, the v3 link now redirects to the main version (which has all the aforementioned updates).

4/8/2018: Advanced card filtering is now live! You can reach it by going to the version 3 page ( ). Going forward, this will replace the link below. For now, however, I wanted to separate it as I'm still working on the functionality.

This URL is now a redirect. Please use the root URL (see above). Additional details in the 5/26/2018 update above. 3/3/2018: I had an issue with my database host this morning. Apparently, the free tier of their service has an expiration date and I had hit it. As a result, the app stopped working.

However, I've just deployed a quick fix to use an in-memory database instead. This is probably not an ideal long term solution, but it should be fine for now until I find a permanent database host that won't turn me off in the future. 1/14/2018: The version 2 link from the update is now dead a redirect. I've replaced the default version with all the functionality from version 2. Simply go to the link below and everything will now be there. 1/7/2018: The issue with the app going to sleep should now be fixed and no longer depends on the third party service I mentioned previously.: The service I use to keep the app 'awake' is no longer working for some reason. As a result, you may notice a generic Heroku error message saying there is an application failure when trying to access the page.

I believe I have an alternative solution to rectify this, but it may take me a few days to implement. For the time being, you should be able to access the site a few minutes after encountering that message (which essentially wakes the server up again). So if you see this error, please just try again after a minute or two. This has been fixed. See the 1/7/2018 update for more info.: I'm currently running a poll to gather some feedback from people on what features they want to see next.

I have some ideas in my head already, but would like to try and prioritize them based on what is most valuable to the collective group. Please head to and use event code DropmixDeckCreator to access the poll.

It is an open poll, so you can get as specific with your answers as necessary. You should also be able to view the results in case you want to +1 something that somebody else mentioned. Looking forward to hearing what everybody thinks.

The site only lets me run a poll for 7 days maximum, so this poll is now expired. I will be running additional polls in the future, however.: Basic filtering functionality is now live! You can reach it by going to the version 2 page ( ). Going forward, this will replace the link below. For now, however, I wanted to separate it as I'm still working on the functionality. This URL is now dead a redirect. Please use the root URL (see above).

Additional details in the 1/14/2018 update above.Known bugs:None!Original post:At the moment, the functionality is pretty basic. You'll get 4 decks of 15 cards each. When I was testing, I found it easier to sort by card type and pull that way. So I had a stack of yellows, reds, etc. Easier to see at a glance, easier to re-sort after a game, easier to replace a card that someone really doesn't want to use.The other notes I had, aside from filters for available cards, were the ability to force-include or force-avoid specific cards (for example somebody posted earlier that their group just doesn't use Embrace Chaos at all). Not sure if that'd be a similar process.

That's actually a good way to do it (especially if you sort by level too). In the future, I'm planning to include an option to do multiple games worth of decks at once, so hopefully that will help as well since I noticed it gets significantly easier to sort them as the stacks dwindle. As for the filtering, it should be pretty straightforward to do it at the card level at the same time. My only major concerns are how to present that in a nice UI and obviously making sure it doesn't break the core functionality.

But it should all be possible. Yep, I addressed that in the post. Basically, I was just trying to get it done as quickly as possible so people could start using it by Thanksgiving. But allowing users to exclude stuff they don't have is pretty high on my priority list for the next version. The only reason the Baffler and Transformers cards are not included is because Hasbro doesn't have the card images for those readily available and I wanted to keep the output for the initial version clean. Going forward, I'd like to actually use the artwork images to recreate the card images on-the-fly, so those will be added back once I'm able to do that.

Sorry, I just realized that I completely misread your original request. So I had actually tried to do this previously and was running into issues. I believe it's because of the way I'm randomly picking which template to use (i.e., the 50/50 chance thing described above).I'm probably going to fix the filtering first so that people can exclude certain cards that they don't own since that has been one of the most requested features.

But after I do that and add all the missing cards (Flawless, Bomb, Transformers, and Baffler), I can probably try to tackle this again.

DropMix is a music mixing game developed by Harmonix and published by Hasbro. The game uses a mix of physical cards with chips embedded with near field communication, a specialized electronic game board with NFC and Bluetooth capabilities, and a companion application for mobile devices (iOS or Android) that communicates with the board via Bluetooth. By playing a card, representing a specific song, atop a proper board space, the board will detect its NFC code and relay that to the app, which will play a sample from that song, such as a drum loop or a vocal section. With multiple cards on the board, the app will manage how all the current songs are mixed as played through the app, creating a mashup. The game has several game modes for single and multi-player play, and additional cards, featuring more song samples, can be purchased as booster packs.

Gameplay[edit]

DropMix comes in a core package that includes 60 NFC-equipped cards, each representing a different song, and an electronic game board with five marked spaces; the game also requires a mobile device that can communicate with the board through Bluetooth through a free app. Additional cards enabling new music samples within the app can be purchased separately as booster packs, the price depending on the number of cards available.

Each card is keyed to at least one of four colors, the colors representative of the instrument that can be sampled from that song. For example, yellow represents vocal tracks, while blue represents drum tracks. The board's five spaces are similarly marked by color, with three of the five spaces accepting cards of two different colors. Placing a card on a space with a matching color will cause that track sample to be used as part of the app's current mix; non-matching placement will have no effect. In addition, each card has a power level marking from one to three. In the app, this represents how much an influence the sample will have on the ongoing mix in terms of its speed, key or length. A card with 3 power will have a pronounced impact on the current mix compared to a card with a power of 1. Cards can be played on top of other cards or removed from the board, the app playing the sample only from the top-most card. Special white cards can be played on any space, which can cause an entire change in the speed and key of the ongoing loop.

The app provides four game modes as of August 2018[1]. 'Freestyle' mode lets players simply try to combine the cards in various mixes without any other rules or scoring goals. In 'Clash', two teams of either one or two players prepare card hands. Taking turns, each player plays a card by color as instructed by the app, but may only play a card of greater power than one already present (if such is the case). If they can, they earn points; if they are unable to, they hit a button on the game board which has the app determine cards to be removed from the game board to keep the game going. In 'Party' mode, one to five players split the available cards between them, and taking turns, must try to respond to specific 'requests' provided by the app in the fastest time, with score penalties if they play incorrectly.[2][3] A patch released in August of 2018 introduced 'Puzzle' Mode, a solo game that combines the special actions of 'Clash' mode with features of 'Party' mode point building by using cards and the DropMix spinner to clear board elements.[4]

The game's soundtrack consists of licensed songs, as well as original compositions by Harmonix Music. At any time, players can save the current mix to the app and share that through social media.

Cards[edit]

Cards are organized into 'playlists.' Each playlist contains 15 cards. The Starter Pack comes with the board and 4 playlists.

Dropmix cards can be purchased in one of two forms: Playlist Packs and Discover Packs. With Playlist Packs, you will receive 16 cards. 15 of the cards are listed (and make up a playlist) and the additional card is hidden and part of the Baffler playlist.

With Discover Packs, there are currently 4 series. There are 6 packs of 5 cards per pack. The only way to distinguish packs from one another is from the images on the fronts of the packs, but each pack contains a specific set of cards. Each Series includes 30 cards (in total), and will complete only half of 4 playlist. 2 Discover Pack Series completes 4 playlist packs.
