Sunrider Academy is a visual novel spin-off featuring the characters of Love in Space's Sunrider sci-fi and mecha series. Instead of commandeering the starship Sunrider and a fleet of mecha in outer space battles, players instead manage the daily life of protagonist Kayto Shields at the Sunrider Academy. Shields is tasked with whipping the school clubs back in shape, which means getting in touch with the club captains who are represented by the female crew members from the original Sunrider games.
