„To catch me, does not have is so easy, but you can disregard here illusion, it seems like you are actually not simple.” “想抓我,可没那么容易,不过你能无视这里的 幻境,看来你倒是不简单。. “Fishing Cat is Gone” Fishing Cat suddenly disappeared at least three days ago. Thinking Wolverine's dad may know something, Bonobono and Chipmunk set out for Wolverine's house.
The update will involve updated catalogs, huge & huge fish guide and updated maps (To the best of my ability).10 02 20Sorry for the delay.22 02 20There is currently still a delay in the updating of this guide. Content has been made but not yet posted. Please excuse the long delay, I'm very busy at the moment and the time I have had available outside of working and university has been more focused around just relaxing than updating this guide. This guide assumes the player is playing Realism Mode however this guide is still relevant to those playing Classic Mode.Recent News:Cat Goes Fishing received an update on 30/10/19I will attempt to update this guide as quickly as possibleThis guide tries to encompass most of the content in Cat goes Fishing in order to help the player. For other sources of information there are several youtube creators who have provided many walkthrough videos of content for Cat Goes Fishing. There are also other guides available on Steam. This guide includes information on:. Game Modes. World Maps.
Weather / Time (I only briefly touch upon this topic). Bait. Rods & attachments. Shops & Extras (E.g.
Rockets, Sonar etc.). Boats. Hats. Fish. 100% of fish for each category are shown in their respective overviews however only some fish have 'Guides' on how to catch them. This is because the large majority of fish will just be found by progressing through the game naturally and don't have any particular unique methods or locations when it comes to finding and catching them other than occasionally you're required to be persistent.
The new fish added to the game on 21/04/18 have been added to the guide. Fish prices in game may change over time. Effective methods of making money. Achievements.
Including the most recent 'Escape The Map' achievement! If you wish to find any information about a certain specific topic e.g. Cave Shark, I recommend you to use CTRL F.
Alternatively just go to their respective category and browse through it. Before going through this guide please keep in mind that it may contain what you'll consider to be spoilers. This is especially true if exploration and discovering the ins and outs to this game is something you wish to accomplish by yourself.I just feel this is an obligatory notification to give to you, the player. Please enjoy the guide and if you have any questions or requests about a specific aspect then please write a message in the comments section at the bottom of this guide and I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.Thank you. The first time you begin Cat Goes Fishing you will be presented with the choice of two game modes.Ultimately the game modes break down simply into these differencesRealism. Fish pull on the line / can snap the line. Can unlock all achievements in Realism ModeClassic.
Fish won't fight back. Not all achievements are available to unlock in Classic ModeI would recommend the player choosing Realism mode. I perceive realism as more fun due to the fish being difficult in some circumstances as well as the player being able to unlock all achievements. If you wish to change to the other game mode you will have to press 'ESC' and start a new game in which you will be presented with the choice of game mode again. The Moga will obscure the view of the fishing lineRecommended Equipment-Boat: Good Boat or better. Not the Dark Boat if using a light to navigate down deep.-Extra: Huge Hook-Rod: Great Rod or Master Rod. This section isn't going to be greatly in depth. The reason for this is eventually you'll be earning far more than you can possibly spend while at the beginning not much is available to you. There are 2 ways to make money in this game:. Quests. FishingFishing is by far the most effective when compared to quests. If you're in this section I imagine you're asking 'What is the number 1 fastest way to earn dosh?' Unfortunately there are no real short cuts but there certainly is a spot or two ripe with those expensive fish.Nightfish SireThe Nightfish Sire is worth an incredible $380,000 making it the second most valuable fish in the game and unlike the Cave Shark (The #1 most valuable fish at $400,000) it is extremely easy to catch, given that you have at minimum:.
The Good Boat. A large bait. Quick Rod + (Quick Rod requires patience for the fish to bite). Sinker (Unlocked at level 25)At their spawn you will find 3 each time you restart the game. Just catch all 3.
Turn off the game. Open up game and repeat the process to your hearts content. The most difficult part of catching a Nightfish Sire is simply getting the large bait down to it.View 'Large Fish - Part 3' for more information on catching the Nightfish Sire.' What if I'm not level 25 and have just started the game?'
.You will want to perform quests, sell most of what you catch in the beginning, start going for Large fish etc. One of the most recommended methods however available to early players is the 'Kingfish' method:Kingfish Method.
Catch a Queenfish. This will cause a swarm of Kingfish to come next to shore or your boat as they follow the Queenfish. Simply throw your line in and pick them out with ease to earn several thousand with very little effort or time spent. In the grand scheme of expenses this method really doesn't provide much. With that said though, for new players this can provide a quick bulk to be able to afford what your heart desires. Within a few hours you'll be hitting your first million so don't despair!.
Achievements - Part 1 focuses on 'Collective' achievements. Thank you very much for reading. Hope you found this guide helpful.Feed back is always welcomed and if you are aware of any existing mistakes please notify me to make changes. Also if you wish for me to add any other content to the guide such as going more in depth in a particular area or adding a catching guide for a particular fish not given an extra part in this guide do please just ask as I have done pieces for a lot which I ended up retracting from this guide in an attempt to better compact it.Thank you very much and all the best. @seraR I have gone through and change all instances of Large hook to Huge hook to mirror the games catalogue. I found no instance of 'Mega hook' inside the guide.I have also added the 'Important Information!' Section to the top of the guide explaining it's out of date and also giving when updates to the guide will be made.If there is any particular information you wish to have such as specific fish please say here and I will ensure to add it. I will deliberately try not to add 'standard' information in order to try keep the guide concise.
Thank you for your feedback. Is greatly appreciated:). @seraR'dude u really need to add MUCH.' Sorry for the inconvenience and please refer to both the comment at the end of the guide by myself'if you wish for me to add any other content to the guide such as going more in depth in a particular area or adding a catching guide for a particular fish not given an extra part in this guide do please just ask as I have done pieces for a lot which I ended up retracting from this guide in an attempt to better compact it.'
And to the description of the guide'This guide requires updating for the Halloween Update 2019.' Thank you very much for reading the guide and pointing out areas needing correction.
Cat Goes Fishing is an exciting arcade game for PC with lots of challenging quests that will be a great time killer for anyone who likes cats and fishing. And here is why!Cat Goes Fishing is all about cats as you might guess from the title. Your protagonist can’t live without fishing so your primary task in this game is to catch as many fish as you can.
You will be able to upgrade your rods or purchase fishing gear on money that you can make from selling that fish. All fish are different in the game, and you need to use various baits to catch a small either huge fish. Whenever you want to catch something particular, you will need to use a smaller fish as bait. There are much more details, and I will tell you more about them below. Graphics 4.5/5Cat Goes Fishing has a pretty much attractive graphics on PC. I have also tried playing this game on a mobile device and wasn’t satisfied with what I saw while playing: all the images felt raw, and the overall impression was like the game’s graphics still needs some final touches to look complete. However, the PC version doesn’t have such problems at all.
There are some issues with color rendition because water changes in a weird way from black to blue and gray colors; rifle-green hills always cover attractive blue sky on the background. But at least your cute protagonist - kitty looks fresh and beautiful.
Also, all the fish differ by shape and color, and the game has a pretty wide range.Cat Goes Fishing has beautiful animation: fish moves clear and smooth, and when the cat throws a fishing rod, it slowly lies down on the bottom so you can easily monitor your brightly shining bait. Before you start completing any level, you will have a chance to pick a hook of your choice. But keep in mind that it should be smaller than the fish you want to catch. The fish will try to eat each other even if they are of one species. Sometimes the big fish can take just a bite of your bait, and in this case, your catch is worthless.
Gameplay 5/5Cat Goes Fishing doesn’t have an intricate storyline or a tricky gameplay, but it’s still quite addictive for players. There is an active marine life going on at the lake’s bottom, and some fish are predators who hunt for its prey, while other simply hang out far away from the shoreline.Cat Goes Fishing has a few game modes, and depending on which one you've chosen, the level of the catching difficulty may vary. Sometimes you will catch a fish just a few seconds after your bait gets into the water and other times you can wait a lot until any tricky fish snaps your fishing line.
So watch out, be patient and careful when you reel baits in. Also, to switch the bait’s size on a bigger one, you will need to change the size of the desired fish. This makes the catching process of the largest individuals a bit more complicated, but it’s still possible to catch them, you just need to use several smaller fish in a row before. The game lets you sell whatever you have previously caught and make some profit from it. You can toss your catch back into the water as well; it’s up to you. When you have enough cash, you can go to the game's shop and get there some new accessories like rods, radars, maps, boats and even such items as bombs and rockets. You can also find in the shop such extra bonuses like quick deeping lures, or some things to attract or repel certain fish. If you upgrade your rod, you’re able to make a more serious catch.
But to do so, you will need to avoid all the dangerous obstacles and explore the shallower waters first. Therefore, the primary reason for selling your catch is making a profit to get some nice perks and equipment and catch even more fish than you could before.Cat Goes Fishing also has some additional quests with tasks similar to catch an individual fish or a particular number of them. For completing those quests you will get some additional bonuses, but those quests are still optional. I’d suggest you check them out because I had a lot of fun while playing.
Controls 5/5Cat Goes Fishing was primarily developed for PC and got lots of fans of the arcade genre quite fast. No wonder why because the game is simple to play and has good enough and intuitive mouse controlling. Playing this game with the touch controls didn’t feel the same as it would be on PC.
Therefore, I understand the veterans of Cat Goes Fishing who still prefer a PC version instead of the mobile one. Replay Value 4.5/5Cat Goes Fishing doesn’t have a complex gameplay or an intricate storyline but still, keeps you entertained for dozens of hours. The game has nice graphics and beautiful animation that make it enjoyable to play. Keep in mind that there are lots of additional quests available for you so that you can play them during the main game or after you complete all the basic missions. So Cat Goes Fishing has much more to offer you than just a simple fishing In-app purchasesCat Goes Fishing doesn’t have any in-game purchases to offer. Uprint. It also doesn’t have any distracting ads so you can enjoy the gaming process from the beginning till the end. ConclusionCat Goes Fishing gives you a pleasant arcade playing experience and will easily keep you busy for dozens of hours.
Starting out on an abandoned island with a basic rod and becoming a pro fisher-cat who is completing tough missions and searching for the most dangerous prey couldn’t be more fun. Disclaimer. 1.
