Main Article: LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Story Gameplay. As in previous titles in the LittleBigPlanet series, players control a character named Sackboy, who goes through a variety of worlds utilizing the character's various abilities such as jumping and grabbing objects. It also features various non-platforming mini-games, similar to LittleBigPlanet 2. Little Big Planet 2 Launch Week DLC, Only Available This Week Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland Comes to LittleBigPlanet 2 For Some Reason LittleBigPlanet 2 Co-Op Review.

With the exciting story, addictive and quite impressive gameplay, and brilliant visuals, Little Big Planet is the best game to play and enjoy.

I will say I enjoyed LittleBigPlanet 1, but nowhere near as much as Spore Galactic Adventures. But then EA made the game intentionally unplayable in September, so I decided to play more LBP.

It was definitely better than the overhyped shovel-ware sequel it got; this. First of all, let's start with the story. You start off as the Sack Boy from the previous game, and you go through a well designed level with pictures of the developers. This level is as good as the game gets. After that, some newspaper grandpa recruits you in a Star Wars knock-off Rebellion to stop this vacuum cleaner called the Negativitron (I will admit, I chuckled when I first heard the name). After going through seven tutorials even a kid in nursery school could beat with no problem, a difficulty spike is shot out, and you go through levels which made my you-know-what feel like they were impaled on that spike.

The rest of the story goes to a doll's lab (which is more generic than the one from Rat Boy Genius in the 'Potato Knishes song), some notebook's (not a calendar, unlike what everyone in the game says) ruined factory (the only good part of it is the middle finger Easter Egg), a futuristic castle where you find a Captain Ersatz of Flynn (I get this came before Skylanders, but still), a mental hospital in a jungle (never thought you would do man-stuff because of an apple? Wait until you see the mental asylum's owner!), and a random planet.

Gameplay: Generic 2.5D platforming. The two part levels are impossible as hell. Mostly Full Metal Rabbit in The Cosmos. The first part of the level pits the player against many guard towers with villains tossing impact bombs at the player.

To proceed, these impact bombs must be tossed back at the towers to destroy them. Later on, there are many platforms over burning holes; each platform has a bad dude shooting flamethrowers at regular intervals. Screw up the timing on one of them and you are dead, which is disembowelment (IN REAL LIFE) if you are trying to go Ace run.

The second part has the player riding the mechanical bunny, which has unforgiving Jump Physics, super floating movement, and no attack capabilities except for a power stomp. This entire section is filled with enemies that can One-Hit Kill you with blasts. Good luck in trying to learn the timing of the final three turrets before the goal.

And then there is Into the Heart of the Negativitron. You see, this boss battle is why I am writing this review. If you have played the original enough to know about Boom Town's highly sensitive bombs and the obscene difficulty of the Bunker? Neither of those are anything compared to the Negativitron boss battle. And you know why?

The Negativitron battle is impossible! The first two sections are, but the final one is completely unplayable. There is also a gigantic creation mode, but that is the game's only plus. Seriously, I think the person who wrote this CSM review was an agent for Media Molecule, and so were a lot of the users reviews which gave this game five stars. As for music, it is really hit or miss. A lot of the Amazon reviews which make sense (in other words, are critical) hated the game's music.

I am not one of those people. The music is not well composed, but still decent.

My main queer with it is it gets too repetitive. FUN Factor: N/A. Levels are too hard, creation mode is too hard to use (seriously, they never even have a SINGLE tool to get the camera from not just showing the floor when making a cut-scene level), user created levels are absolutely AMAZING, but this is a review of the game itself, not online interactions. Overall, this game is bad, and I need a box of tissues whenever I play it. For one reason or another, this game made me wish we I had never played it. Even if there is a good idea in there somewhere, it is buried under so many bad ones and poor execution I cannot recommend you waste your time on it. There are plenty of alleged 'worse' games out there, like the Rambo game, Fast & Furious: Showdown, Step Up, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and especially Extreme Paint Brawl (none of which I have played, just heard of, and good for me that I never played them).

Now, onto the puny, miserable, not worth it content!Violence: Cartoon and mild. In this disappointing side-scrolling platformer as you help a small doll traverse through whimsical environments, you run and jump through levels and avoid obstacles (e.g., flamethrower turrets, electricuted platforms), you can use a helmet to fire rockets, water, and cake at enemies called meanies. Meanies crumble to pieces and disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated. In one level, dolls can be seen smacking one another to the ground.Mischief: Players can also customize levels by assigning belch and fart sound effects to various objects. The story mode is appropriat but online levels.lets just say that I love horror movies and some online levels scare me. Their is cussing, blood, and people can take photos of themselves unsensored.

Immitations of horror games/movies like dead space, friday the thirteenth, and resident evil can be very realistic and can frighten the producers of the blair witch prodject (not recommended). The story mode is fun and a nice way to have fun. If your kids are under the age of 10 don`t let them play online levels without your approval. Thanks again for reading. Tobuscus228 out. Though it is fun, but I still prefer the first game. Creativity has more variety in this sequel, but a few things are still missing.

Violence is mild, your character will be pop in a kid friendly way when hurt. You can shoot enemies that turn into puffs of clouds when hurt, with a helmet that shoots little balls that look like peas or green tennis balls.

The battle of sol mari. Online can be unsafe and explicit. Strong language and toxic behaviour from other players and some levels players create can be pretty mature and inappropriate. At its core, LittleBigPlanet 2 is a platforming game focused around playing levels, creating levels, and sharing levels. LittleBigPlanet 2 introduces many new contraptions and controls to use in your levels. Your kid probably won't run out of ideas, provided that they're experienced enough to know how to use all of the tools well.Violence is minimal.

Similar to Mario titles, things like getting electrocuted, burnt, frozen, and touching spikes only results in you going back to the last checkpoint you touched. Due to the nature of LittleBigPlanet, it's possible to upload levels without them actually being completable, so getting stuck, either intentionally or unintentionally, forces you to make your Sackboy or Sackgirl commit suicide if you want to get back to the last checkpoint. No worries, though, as they only harmlessly pop out of existence. It is possible to play online with others. Up to 3 other people can be with you. When you're playing an online level, if other people are playing it too, you may be asked if you want to join them, based on both of your privacy settings.

There's also a 'Dive In' feature, which randomly looks for people to play with. Like all other online games where you can communicate with others though, this poses a risk for your child. They may get cyberbullied, and due to the PS3's messaging system, they can send your child messages without them even being in the game. With over 10 million online levels, you won't be bored anytime soon.

This game is great and lets your childs imagination grow and expand! Note that the internet services can be good and bad. Some people create great new levels that are fun to play but some create levels with violence and blood you should keep an eye on these ones. Some community levels state +18 or +15 so know your child before letting him/her play the internet features. The game is fun overall with cute characters and a very imaginative story.

PS:Online players in lbp2 are able to join your game leaving you with a Fun social experience. Or in some cases being a threat and use swear words.

This game is awesome! The only thing, is that if you have online mode on, your kids are able to play with teenagers or adults that might bully them or if they have a microphone on, they can talk through that, and ask them bad stuff (ie. Where you live.) The consumerism part is the costumes or DLC (Downloadable Content) that you can get, like from famous video game titles or movies, like Toystory, and other Disney titles are popular. I would not recommend this game for kids under the age of 7 1/2 to 8 years old depending on how honest or mature your kid is.

But I'm twelve and I don't really even like online mode anyways because of how laggy (glitchy) the gameplay is.
