Since ancient times, people have propagated that if someone owns the beast “Ifit” will become invincible. Along with the greed to dominate the world, steal the beast, Eggman Nega has once again disguised himself as a doctor to facilitate the theft of the Chaos Emeralds. However, to take “Ifrit” into the current world, it takes seven Chaos Emeralds. To complete his plan, Eggman Nega secretly hired Rouge the Bat to continue searching for the remaining six Chaos Emeralds. At the same time, on another planet being destroyed by “Ifrit”, people are very worried about this issue. That’s why the Silver the Hedgehog and Espio realized their mission – to save the world, the only way they could do that was to find the seven Chaos Emeralds to lock the beast “Ifrit”. From here the fight for Chaos Emeralds stones between the two forces begins.

Sonic Rivals 2 has up to eight characters to choose from, including five from the previous game and three new characters. All characters perform Homing Attack and Spin Dash missions to collect items to increase their level. Especially in the game, players can completely create teams for their characters, the squad can be divided into two teams that carry out the campaign (with separate plot content) in parallel as if they will accomplish more tasks.
